Over the years, our collaboration with Deutsche Börse has included extensive work with their highly successful, albeit complex, subsidiary, Clearstream – a leading European provider of post-trading services, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Börse.

The background

Through brand and campaign development, we have helped Clearstream establish a highly distinctive position by applying an orderly design discipline. This approach provides clarity, cuts through complexity, and prevents brand erosion.

Fin has worked frequently with Clearstream over the past several years and continues today. By leveraging our deep understanding of the industry, we have created visual clarity and developed simple messaging to effectively communicate the highly intricate environment in which Clearstream operates. 

Imagery

Our initial engagement focused on Clearstream’s imagery. Fin developed a visual style that strongly resonated with their corporate message, “where innovation meets trust.” The dynamic light trails in the imagery symbolise the innovative energy that delivers solutions to their clients

These images are presented as montages incorporating familiar, secure objects from the world around us. The light trails utilise Clearstream’s colour palette, creating tailored visual assets for the business.

Colour panels within the montages add depth and visually differentiate Clearstream’s two key service areas of Clearstream Securities Services & Clearstream Fund Services whilst retaining an overall look and feel across both CSS and CSF.

 

 

 Campaigns and Videos

We have also produced several product-focused videos using animation and storytelling. Here, our in-depth appreciation of the industry once again enabled us to create videos with thoughtful and concise messaging that effectively encapsulated each service within the Clearstream business.

 

Corporate Guidelines

Most recently, we completely revised Clearstream’s brand guidelines. This involved realigning the brand internally and streamlining its various iterations to establish a single, consistent, and practical style.
